ScanDoc
Every other scanner puts the flash, the filter and the destination on the camera screen and makes you set them on every single scan. ScanDoc puts them in a profile, and the shutter just runs it.
What it does differently
- Scan profiles. A saved default for filter, quality, page size, shutter mode, flash, OCR, filename and destination. Change something on the camera screen and it edits a working copy — it only becomes the default when you say so.
- Six Shortcuts actions, including a camera capture that hands a PDF, JPEG, PNG or text file straight back to the shortcut that called it.
- Nine destinations behind one delivery pipeline: Files, Photos, Paperless-ngx, WebDAV (Nextcloud, ownCloud, Synology, Seafile), S3-compatible storage (MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, R2, Amazon S3), Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive.
- Home Screen quick actions built straight from your profiles.
- Passport photos with correct country geometry — measured and cropped, never retouched.
Privacy
Scanning, filtering and text recognition all run on-device. There's no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no account system. The only network traffic is an upload you configured, or a cloud sign-in you started yourself.
