Smart Data Choices

End User License Agreement

Last updated: September 3, 2026

If you got ScanDoc from the App Store, your use of it is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, not this page. This EULA applies to Printer Sharing for Mac, which we distribute directly.

This is an agreement between you and Smart Data Choices, Inc. ("we", "us") for the software product it applies to (the "Software").

License grant

Subject to your compliance with this agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for as many devices as your purchased license permits.

What you may not do

Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We retain all right, title and interest in it, including all intellectual property rights.

No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the license in question.

Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach any term of this agreement. On termination you must stop using the Software and destroy any keys or copies you hold.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Open source

The Software may include open-source components. Where a component's license requires an acknowledgement, we include one in the Software or in a linked notice; those components remain governed by their own licenses.
