Release status

FolioIntent has not shipped. This page distinguishes planned first-release scope from later ideas.

First-release scope

• Camera, selected-file, share-extension, and Shortcuts intake.
• On-device OCR, evidence-linked fields, deterministic checks, and Workflow preview.
• Three fresh-install starter Workflows and a bounded All/Any delivery-condition editor.
• Manual saved-field correction that cannot silently execute an action.
• Durable results with file, text, data, field, and action-status retrieval.
• Files and Photos destinations. Paperless-ngx, WebDAV, and S3-compatible destinations will be included only for configurations in the qualified compatibility matrix.
• Per-action accepted, confirmed, retryable, authentication-required, ambiguous, failed, and cancelled status.
• Explicit Retry, Check Provider, and reconnect recovery controls, with no automatic resend of a Ready to retry action after relaunch.
• Optional privacy-safe local completion alerts, scheduled at most once per Workflow run after earlier required actions finish.

Verification before release

The first public version will not be described as ready until its signed build passes physical-device camera and Shortcuts testing, Files, Photos, and notification permission tests, live destination qualification, purchase and restore testing, accessibility review, archive privacy inspection, and App Store metadata review.

Deferred

Passport workflows, Fax, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, cloud AI, accounting posting, marketplace publication, and team/server execution are not part of this first release.
