FolioIntent help

Get started

Choose a starter Workflow, then begin with the camera, a PDF, or an image you select.

  1. Choose a Workflow. Use a starter as-is or edit its capture, output, extraction, naming, conditions, destinations, and completion-alert choices.
  2. Choose Capture or Import. Grant camera access only if you want to scan a page. If a camera is unavailable, choose Import and select a supported PDF or image.
  3. Add every page. Check the page order, crop, rotation, and filter before continuing. FolioIntent protects accepted camera pages so an interruption does not silently discard the session.
  4. Review and correct. Compare extracted values with their source pages. Low-confidence text is evidence to review, not a promise that the value is correct. In Runs, use Edit value to save a correction; saving does not execute, retry, or reconcile an action.
  5. Preview the Workflow. Review the proposed actions and destinations. Previewing does not send, schedule a notification, or publish anything.
  6. Run when ready. Running is a separate, explicit step after review.
  7. Inspect each action. Keep the result until every required action is confirmed or you have resolved any pending, authentication-required, or ambiguous action.

Starter Workflows

Optional delivery conditions

A Workflow may deliver only when one bounded All/Any group matches. Choose up to eight conditions based on the filename, on-device OCR text, or extracted fields and amounts. If a required input is unknown, FolioIntent stops for review instead of treating it as a match.

Supported intake limits

FolioIntent accepts supported PDFs and images up to 50 MB per file, 200 MB per batch, and 50 pages. An image is limited to 48 megapixels, with a 60-megapixel decoded-image total per batch. A typed error appears instead of attempting unsafe, unbounded processing.

If a capture was interrupted

Open Capture again. If FolioIntent recovered staged pages, review, finish, or explicitly discard them before starting a different camera request. Do not uninstall the app while recovering a session; uninstalling removes its local container.

Keep originals. FolioIntent preserves imported originals and creates derivatives for processing and export. Back up finished files you need long-term to a location you control. A completion alert is generic and is scheduled only after earlier required actions have reached a terminal outcome.
